Vector-meson production and vector meson dominance [PDF]

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2021
We consider the fidelity of the vector meson dominance (VMD) assumption as an instrument for relating the electromagnetic vector-meson production reaction $$e + p \rightarrow e^\prime + V + p$$ e + p → e ′ + V + p to the purely hadronic process $$V + p ...

Charmed scalar resonances -- Conventional and four-quark mesons [PDF]

open access: yesProg.Theor.Phys. 114 (2005) 205-211, 2005
We propose that there coexist two scalar mesons of different structures (a conventional meson and a four-quark meson) in the recently observed broad bumps just below the large peak of the tensor meson in the D-pi mass distribution. We base this proposal on the interpretation of the charm-strange scalar meson of mass 2317 MeV as a four-quark meson.

Meson scattering in a non-minimally Lorentz-violating scalar QED at finite temperature [PDF]

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
In this paper we study meson scattering in a non-minimally Lorentz-violating scalar QED at finite temperature. The meson scatterings were investigated in tree level and the finite temperature effects were addressed by using the thermofield dynamics ...

Charm meson scattering cross sections by pion and rho meson [PDF]

open access: yesNucl.Phys. A689 (2001) 965-979, 2000
Using the local flavor SU(4) gauge invariance in the limit of vanishing vector meson masses, we extend our previous study of charm meson scattering cross sections by pion and rho meson, which is based only on the pseudoscalar-pseudoscalar-vector meson couplings, to include also contributions from the couplings among three vector mesons and among four ...

Meson-nucleus potentials and the search for meson-nucleus bound states [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Recent experiments studying the meson-nucleus interaction to extract meson-nucleus potentials are reviewed. The real part of the potentials quantifies whether the interaction is attractive or repulsive while the imaginary part describes the meson absorption in nuclei. The review is focused on mesons which are sufficiently long-lived to potentially form

Interactions of heavy-light mesons [PDF]

open access: yesNucl.Phys.Proc.Suppl.83:200-202,2000, 1999
The potential between static-light mesons forming a meson-meson or a meson-antimeson system is calculated in quenched and unquenched SU(3) gauge theory. We use the Sheikholeslami-Wohlert action and statistical estimators of light quark propagators with maximal variance reduction.

Omega photoproduction [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Photoproduction of omega-meson is analyzed within meson exchange model and Regge model and compared to rho-meson photoproduction. An interplay between two models and uncertainties in data reproduction are discussed.

Decay constants and form factors of s-wave and p-wave mesons in the covariant light-front quark model [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
We reanalyze the decay constants of s-wave and p-wave mesons and D, B ->M form factors, where M represents a pseudoscalar meson, a vector meson, a scalar meson, or an axial vector meson within a covariant light-front quark model. The parameter \beta for wave-functions of most of s-wave mesons and of a few axial-vector mesons are fixed with latest ...

Analytical determination of Yukawa Potential: An iterative semiclassical approach [PDF]

open access: yesRevista Brasileira de Ensino de Física, 2020
In this work we propose an alternative semiclassical iterative approach to obtain the Yukawa Potential, where the temporal evolution is replaced by the number of iterations.

B- and D-meson leptonic decay constants from four-flavor lattice QCD [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2018
We calculate the leptonic decay constants of heavy-light pseudoscalar mesons with charm and bottom quarks in lattice quantum chromodynamics on four-flavor QCD gauge-field configurations with dynamical $u$, $d$, $s$, and $c$ quarks. We analyze over twenty
