Three-coordinate late transition metal fluorinated alkoxide complexes

Dalton Trans., 2010
Homoleptic fluorinated alkoxide complexes have been prepared from KOC4F9, 1, via salt metathesis routes. One four-coordinate K{K(18C6)}[Co(OC4F9)4], 2, and four three-coordinate complexes: {K(18C6)}[Fe(OC4F9)3], 3, {K(18C6)}[Co(OC4F9)3], 4, {K(18C6)}[Cu(OC4F9)3], 5, and {K(18C6)}[Zn(OC4F9)3], 6, have been prepared and all except 5 have been ...

Structures of metal alkoxides and oxoalkoxides

1994
Abstract Although metal alkoxides and oxoalkoxides lie on the border between organic and coordination chemistry, their crystal structures are appropriate to organic crystal chemistry, involving molecular type packings. Moreover their crystal and molecular structures give some insight into their reactivity and chemical transformations.

METAL OXIDE ALKOXIDE POLYMERS: PART IV. THE HYDROLYSIS OF SOME TANTALUM ALKOXIDES

Canadian Journal of Chemistry, 1962
Ebulliometric studies on the hydrolysis of tantalum pentaalkoxides Ta(OR)5, where R = Me, Prn, Bun, and Bus, have furnished important data on the polymeric nature of tantalum oxide alkoxides. It is shown from the variation of number-average degrees of polymerization as a function of degree of hydrolysis that the polymers conform to certain structural ...

Synthesis and reactions of metal alkoxides

Journal of Non-Crystalline Solids, 1988
Abstract A brief account of the methods generally employed for the synthesis of metal alkoxides has been presented. Successful elucidation of the structural features of simple alkoxides on the basis of a coordination model involving alkoxy bridges has prompted a detailed study of a variety of bimetallic alkoxides during the last two decades followed ...
