Bonding Energetics in Alkaline Metal Alkoxides and Phenoxides
AbstractThe bonding energetics in a variety of alkaline metal, alkoxides and phenoxides, MOR, was investigated based on the corresponding enthalpies of formation in the crystalline state determined by reaction‐solution calorimetry. The results obtained at 298.15 K were as follows: ΔfH$\rm{_{m}^{\,o}}$ (MOR, cr)/kJ mol−1 = 382.7±1.4 (LiOC6H5), 513.6±2.5

Graphite Co‐Intercalation Chemistry in Sodium‐Ion Batteries
Traditional intercalation chemistry in lithium‐ion batteries cannot allow sodium storage in graphite. The co‐intercalation chemistry changes the situation. It enables reversible and ultrafast sodium storage in graphite. Revisiting challenges and summarizing recent advances are of significant importance to exploit the full potential of graphite in ...

Uncovering the Electrochemical‐Thermal Coupling Behavior of Li Plating at Elevated Temperatures
The electrochemical‐thermal coupling behavior of Li plating at an elevated temperature of 60°C is studied. A distinctive exothermic peak appears corresponding to the Li plating plateau, while another characteristic exothermic peak during the relaxation stage is observed for the first‐time, attributed to the simultaneous Li stripping and re ...

Why add another catalyst when the product itself holds the power to catalyze its own formation? Autocatalysis in synthetic chemistry enhances reaction efficiency and uncovers novel catalytic behavior across both closed‐shell and open‐shell systems, expanding reactivity and enabling innovative design strategies.
