Efficient and Durable Photochemical CO2 Reduction by TiO2‐Immobilized Metal Porphyrin Catalysts

open access: yesChemSusChem, Volume 19, Issue 7, 14 April 2026.
A dye‐sensitized TiO2 scaffold bearing IrP and 3d‐metalloporphyrin catalysts (M‐TCPP; M = Fe, Co, Ni, Cu) drives efficient CO2‐to‐CO conversion and H2 evolution. Robust TiO2 immobilization and rapid interfacial electron transfer within the ternary architecture underpin the markedly enhanced activities relative to the mixed homogeneous systems.

X-ray Structure and Properties of the Ferrous Octaethylporphyrin Nitroxyl Complex [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The preparation and characterization of the iron octaethylporphyrin nitroxyl ion, [Fe(OEP)(NO)−], is reported. The complex was synthesized by the one-electron reduction of Fe(OEP)(NO) using anthracenide as the reducing agent. The compound was isolated as

Clinically Important Features of Porphyrin and Heme Metabolism and the Porphyrias

open access: yesMetabolites, 2014
Heme, like chlorophyll, is a primordial molecule and is one of the fundamental pigments of life. Disorders of normal heme synthesis may cause human diseases, including certain anemias (X-linked sideroblastic anemias) and porphyrias.

Supramolecular systems and their connection with metal–organic structures

open access: yesFrontiers in Chemistry
Supramolecular structures with specific applications are a pillar in several areas of science. Thus, from a contemporary point of view, there are several reasons to embrace a systematic order of the supramolecular concept itself.
