X-ray diffraction phase analysis of samples performed on a DRON-6 diffractometer has shown that the processes of CaWO 4 transition to WC and W 2 C had the highest probability in the temperature range of 1,173–1,473 K. The end-product CaWO 4 , thermally treated with carbon, was represented by carbon in oxycarbide and carbide phases.

Computational engineering of the oxygen electrode-electrolyte interface in solid oxide fuel cells
The Ce0.8Gd0.2O2−δ (CGO) interlayer is commonly applied in solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) to prevent chemical reactions between the (La1−x Sr x )(Co1−y Fe y )O3−δ (LSCF) oxygen electrode and the Y2O3-stabilized ZrO2 (YSZ) electrolyte.

Notes on Metallic Affect: Metallurgy and New Materialism
This paper follows Theodore Wertime, twentieth century historian of metallurgy, spy turned survivalist. Wertime's fascination with metallurgy is related to the Smith in Deleuze and Guattari and the mythical Alchemist of Mircea Eliade's work; also explored are notions of the Cyborg and of Geotrauma.

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for
