Toward the capacity limit of 2D planar Jones matrix with a single-layer metasurface
A Jones matrix with an upper limit of six degrees of freedom of planar structure can be constructed by metasurfaces. The Jones matrix is a useful tool to deal with polarization problems, and its number of degrees of freedom (DOFs) that can be manipulated

Spacetime Processing Metasurfaces: GSTC Synthesis and Prospective Applications [PDF]
The paper presents the general concept of spacetime processing metasurfaces, synthesized by generalized sheet transition conditions (GSTCs). It is shown that such metasurfaces can perform multiple simultaneous spatio-temporal processing transformations on incident electromagnetic waves.

Information theory of metasurfaces [PDF]
Abstract We propose a theory to characterize the information and information processing abilities of metasurfaces, and demonstrate the relation between the information of the metasurface and its radiation pattern in the far-field region. By incorporating a general aperture model with uncertainty relation in L2-space, we propose a theory ...
