Inhalation therapy in obstructive airways disease : evaluation and instruction on metered dose inhaler technique [PDF]
The value of inhaled drugs has been recognised for millenia by ancient civilizations (Miller, 1973). Inhalation therapy has many advantages including drug delivery direct to site of action, rapid onset of therapeutic effect (Plit et aI, 1972 ...

Hydrogels demonstrate material properties that mimic the mechanical and chemical environments of biological tissues. Yet, they face challenges during their integration into 3D interfaces. By identifying a class of thermoplastic hydrogels, a strategy is developed to pattern hydrogels in thermally drawn fibers.

Genome‐Wide by Lifetime Environment Interaction Studies of Brain Imaging Phenotypes
This study explores genome‐wide by lifetime environment interactions on brain imaging phenotypes. Gene‐environment interactions explain more phenotypic variance than main effects, pinpoint regulatory variants, and reveal exposure‐specific biological pathways.

Dusty Streets: The Challenge of Dust‐Borne Pollutants in Low‐Income Countries
Generally, pollution impacts developed and low‐income countries (LICs) to different extents, and the disease burden due to roadway dust is not uniformly distributed across socio‐economic classes. Roadway dust materials from paved and unpaved urban and rural roads were reported to contain organic constituents which are toxic and affect public health ...
