Advances in Systems Engineering of Carbon Dioxide Electroreduction

open access: yesCarbon and Hydrogen, Volume 28, Issue 2, Page 150-171, June 2026.
Industrializing CO2 electroreduction hinges on holistic systemic synergy and optimization of all process segments rather than isolated catalytic breakthroughs; Process simulation is a core enabler to build a complete capture–conversion–product industrial chain, positioning CO2RR as a key technology for carbon neutrality.

Pharmacokinetic Evaluation of a Cinnamon Product on CYP2A6 Substrate Drugs: Application of a Novel Tool Involving the Nicotine Metabolite Ratio

open access: yesClinical Pharmacology &Therapeutics, Volume 119, Issue 6, Page 1485-1493, June 2026.
Cinnamon (Cinnamomum spp.) is used as a culinary spice and dietary supplement. A major constituent, cinnamaldehyde, was previously shown to inactivate cytochrome P450 (CYP) 2A6 in vitro. A mechanistic static model predicted an ~5‐fold increase in the AUC of the CYP2A6 substrates nicotine and letrozole.

A model for DMFC cathode impedance: The effect of methanol crossover

open access: yesElectrochemistry Communications, 2012
Abstract A model for impedance of DMFC cathode is developed. The model shows formation of the methanol oxidation reaction dominating domain (virtual anode) at the membrane interface. With the growth of the methanol crossover rate, the thickness of the virtual anode increases.
