Mellin-Barnes and the method of brackets

open access: yes, 2021
The method of brackets is a method for the evaluation of definite integrals based on a small number of rules. This is employed here for the evaluation of Mellin-Barnes integral. The fundamental idea is to transform these integral representations into a bracket series to obtain their values.

Accurate Bracket Placement with an Indirect Bonding Method Using Digitally Designed Transfer Models Printed in Different Orientations—An In Vitro Study

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Medicine, 2021
Objective: A digital workflow opens up new possibilities for the indirect bonding (IDB) of brackets. We tested if the printing orientation for bracket transfer models on the build platform of a 3D printer influences the accuracy of the following IDB ...

Comparison of Enamel Demineralisation Scores between Passive Self-Ligation Brackets and Conventional Ligation Brackets in Patients Undergoing Orthodontic TreatmentA Laser Fluorescence Study [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research, 2020
Introduction: Enamel demineralisation is often seen in patients undergoing fixed orthodontic treatment because appliances create retentive areas around the brackets leading to food debris accumulation.

What is the best method for debonding metallic brackets from the patient’s perspective?

open access: yesProgress in orthodontics, 2015
BackgroundThe aim of this clinical investigation was to compare the level of discomfort reported by patients during the removal of orthodontic metallic brackets performed with four different debonding instruments.MethodsThe sample examined in this split ...

Comparison of shear bond strength of brackets recycled using micro sandblasting and industrial methods.

open access: yesAngle Orthodontist, 2015
OBJECTIVE To evaluate in vitro the shear bond strength of brackets recycled by sandblasting with aluminum oxide particles of different sizes or reconditioned industrially after successive rebonding. MATERIALS AND METHODS Eighty brackets were bonded and

Queer Poisson brackets [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Geometry and Physics, 2017
We give a method to construct Poisson brackets { ⋅ , ⋅ } on Banach manifolds  M , for which the value of { f , g } at some point may depend on higher order derivatives of the smooth functions f , g : M → R and not only on the first-order derivatives, as ...

Comparison of the Debonding Characteristics of Conventional and New Debonding Instrument used for Ceramic, Composite and Metallic Brackets – An Invitro Study [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research, 2014
Background: Debonding procedure is time consuming and damaging to the enamel if performed with improper technique. Various debonding methods include: the conventional methods that use pliers or wrenches, an ultrasonic method, electrothermal devices ...

Call-out Bracket Methods in Timor. [PDF]

open access: yesThe Journal of Object Technology, 2006
This paper extends the concept of qualifying types by describing how their implementations can include not only bracket methods which are applied when a method of a target object is invoked, but also further "call-out" bracket methods which can be applied to invocations by the target object of the methods of other objects. This additional technique can
