Some Properties of Positive Solutions for Nonlinear Systems Involving Pseudo-Relativistic Operators
In this paper, we mainly investigate the radial symmetry and monotonicity of positive solutions for a nonlinear system involving pseudo-relativistic operators and fractional derivatives of order (0,1).

Convolutional neural network on three orthogonal planes for dynamic texture classification [PDF]
Dynamic Textures (DTs) are sequences of images of moving scenes that exhibit certain stationarity properties in time such as smoke, vegetation and fire. The analysis of DT is important for recognition, segmentation, synthesis or retrieval for a range of ...

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Symmetry and Monotonicity of Solutions to Mixed Local and Nonlocal Weighted Elliptic Equations
This paper focuses on the symmetry and monotonicity of non-negative solutions to a mixed local and nonlocal weighted elliptic problem. This problem generalizes the ground-state representation of elliptic equations with the Hardy potential. The novelty of

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

We consider system of integral equations related to the weighted Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev (HLS) inequality in a half space. By the Pohozaev type identity in integral form, we present a Liouville type theorem when the system is in both supercritical and ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Moving planes for nonlinear fractional Laplacian equation with negative powers
In this paper, we study symmetry properties of positive solutions to the fractional Laplace equation with negative powers on the whole space. We can use the direct method of moving planes introduced by Jarohs-Weth-Chen-Li-Li to prove one particular ...

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.
