Numerical Approximation of One Phase Quadrature Domains [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In this work, we present two numerical schemes for a free boundary problem called one phase quadrature domain. In the first method by applying the proprieties of given free boundary problem, we derive a method that leads to a fast iterative solver.

Immunoglobulin Depletion and Recovery Following Blinatumomab in Infants With KMT2A‐Rearranged ALL

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Adding blinatumomab to standard chemotherapy for infants with KMT2A‐rearranged acute B‐cell lymphoblastic leukemia (KMT2A‐r B‐ALL) improves outcomes. Although blinatumomab impairs immunoglobulin G (lgG) production, increasing infection susceptibility, IgG recovery remains poorly understood.

Analysis of dynamic penetration of objects into soil layers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Finite element analysis of the penetration of a solid object into a soil layer is probably one of the most sophisticated and challenging problems in numerical analysis.

Classification of soils by numerical methods [PDF]

open access: yes, 1966
Twenty-three profile descriptions of soils in Glamorganshire and the laboratory measurements on soil samples of the ninety-one horizons into which they were divided by the surveyor were examined by the methods of numerical taxonomy.

Bridging the Gap in Neuroblastoma Care: Consensus‐Based Statements With Recommendations for Improved Patient and Caregiver Experiences

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Neuroblastoma's complex, heterogeneous biology poses significant diagnostic and therapeutic challenges, often requiring caregivers to absorb complex information and participate in time‐sensitive decisions. However, caregivers often feel unprepared to evaluate options.

Impact of Metastatic Patterns on Survival and Response to Therapy in Neuroblastoma

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background While the presence of metastases in neuroblastoma (NB) is a well‐established prognostic factor, the clinical significance of dissemination patterns and tumour burden and their impact on response and survival remains poorly understood.

Ovarian Sex Cord Stromal Tumors in Children and Adolescents—The European Standard Clinical Practice Recommendations

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT As part of the European Cooperative Study Group for Paediatric Rare Tumours initiative, we developed standard clinical practice guidelines for ovarian sex cord stromal tumors, based on comprehensive national and international cohort analyses, literature review, and a final expert consensus conference.

Stability and covergence properties of Bergman Kernel methods for numerical conformal mapping [PDF]

open access: yes, 1984
In this paper we study the stability and convergence properties of Bergman kernel methods, for the numerical conform al mapping of simply and doubly- connected domains.

Phase Angle as an Early Functional Biomarker of Cancer‐Related Fatigue in Pediatric Oncology: A Prospective Longitudinal Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Pediatric cancer remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, particularly in low‐and middle‐income countries. Cancer treatment may impair nutritional status, alter body composition, and exacerbate cancer‐related fatigue (CRF).

High resolution methods for incompressible, compressible and variable density flows. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
The uid dynamics community has dealt with a number of numerical challenges since the 1950's. These include the development of numerical methods for hyperbolic conservation laws with particular interest in capturing shock wave propagation and related ...
