Some Iterative Methods for Solving Equilibrium Problems and Optimization Problems

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2010
We introduce a new iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of solutions of the equilibrium problems, the set of solutions of variational inequality for a relaxed cocoercive mapping, and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping.

Problem-Solving Methods for Understanding Process Executions [PDF]

open access: yesComputing in Science & Engineering, 2008
Problem-solving methods are high-level, domain-independent, reusable knowledge templates that support the development of knowledge-intensive applications. The authors show how to use them to bolster subject-matter experts' understanding of process execution by implementing such methods into the Knowledge-Oriented Provenance Environment.

Runge-Kutta Methods of Higher Order for Solving Stiff Problems [PDF]

open access: yesAl-Rafidain Journal of Computer Sciences and Mathematics, 2008
Our purpose in this research is the development of higher order Runge-Kutta methods for solving stiff systems. We have developed methods of order five, six, and seven. We studied their stability Region and applications for solving stiff systems.

LINEAR PROGRAMMING AND DYNAMICS

open access: yesUral Mathematical Journal, 2015
In a Hilbert space we consider the linear boundary value problem of optimal control based on the linear dynamics and the terminal linear programming problem at the right end of the time interval.

Extragradient subgradient methods for solving bilevel equilibrium problems

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2018
In this paper, we propose two algorithms for finding the solution of a bilevel equilibrium problem in a real Hilbert space. Under some sufficient assumptions on the bifunctions involving pseudomonotone and Lipschitz-type conditions, we obtain the strong ...

Methods for forming skills of solving “rule of three” problems

open access: yesВестник Майкопского государственного технологического университета, 2023
The article is devoted to the topical issue of improving the methodology of working with text problems on “uniform processes” (finding the fourth proportional), which form the concept of a direct and inversely proportional relationship between values in ...

Methods for solving reasoning problems in abstract argumentation – A survey

open access: yesArtificial Intelligence, 2015
Within the last decade, abstract argumentation has emerged as a central field in Artificial Intelligence. Besides providing a core formalism for many advanced argumentation systems, abstract argumentation has also served to capture several non-monotonic ...
