Synthesis and systematic optical investigation of selective area droplet epitaxy of InAs/InP quantum dots assisted by block copolymer lithography [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
We report on the systematic investigation of the optical properties of a selectively grown quantum dot gain material assisted by block-copolymer lithography for potential applications in active optical devices operating in the wavelength range around 1 ...

Chain Versus Ring: Characterization of a Meta‐Phenylene Ladder Polymer and Its Octameric Macrocycle

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 32, Issue 16, 25 April 2026.
The synthesis and comprehensive spectral and photophysical analysis of a methyl‐substituted ladder meta‐phenylene macrocycle (MeLMMP) and its polymer analogue (MeLPMP) show that, despite differing topologies (macrocycle vs. polymer), both display nearly identical electronic and photophysical properties due to cross‐conjugation.

Organic thermally activated delayed fluorescence material with strained benzoguanidine donor

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2023
Organic thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) materials have been widely investigated due to their impressive electronic properties and applied potential for the third generation of organic light-emitting diodes (OLED).

Methylcyclohexane pyrolysis and oxidation in a jet-stirred reactor

open access: yesProceedings of the Combustion Institute, 2019
Alkylated cycloalkanes are an important chemical class in conventional fuels. Methylcyclohexane (MCH) is a simple alkylated cycloalkane that is a potential candidate to represent the naphthenic content in transportation fuel surrogates.

Emissive Liquid Crystalline Boron C,N‐Chelates: Synthesis, Self‐assembly, and Photophysical Properties

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 32, Issue 15, 22 April 2026.
Novel emissive liquid crystalline boron C,N‐chelates were prepared by integrating mesogenic units into the boron C,N‐core. Depending on the substituent at the boron, stable SmA or N mesophases were achieved while maintaining intense blue emission with excellent quantum yields (61%–100%).

Adding a structural context to the deprotometalation and trans-metal trapping chemistry of phenyl-substituted benzotriazole [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Organometallic bases are becoming increasingly complex, because mixing components can lead to bases superior to single-component bases. To better understand this superiority, it is useful to study metalated intermediate structures prior to quenching ...

Matrix‐Isolation Electron Paramagnetic Resonance Studies of Radical Ions and Neutral Radicals Generated by Radiolysis of Organic Molecules at Cryogenic Temperatures

open access: yesThe Chemical Record, Volume 26, Issue 4, April 2026.
By selecting an appropriate matrix and irradiating the matrix containing a trace amount of solute at low temperatures, ionic or neutral radicals derived from the solute can be generated and trapped in the matrix. EPR spectroscopy of these samples yields highly detailed information on the radicals, inaccessible by other experimental techniques. Electron

Novel Cage-Like Hexanuclear Nickel(II) Silsesquioxane. Synthesis, Structure, and Catalytic Activity in Oxidations with Peroxides

open access: yesMolecules, 2016
New hexanuclear nickel(II) silsesquioxane [(PhSiO1.5)12(NiO)6(NaCl)] (1) was synthesized as its dioxane-benzonitrile-water complex (PhSiO1,5)12(NiO)6(NaCl)(C4H8O2)13(PhCN)2(H2O)2 and studied by X-ray and topological analysis.

Characterization of Metal Dispersion of Some Naphtha Reforming Catalysts by Methylcyclohexane Dehydrogenation Reaction

open access: yesAl-Khawarizmi Engineering Journal, 2009
The dispersion of supported Pt and Pt–Ir reforming catalysts have been studied, after treatment with oxidative and reducing atmosphere. Methylcyclohexane dehydrogenation reaction in the absence of hydrogen was used as a test reaction. An attempt was made

Security risk analysis of a hydrogen fueling station with an on-site hydrogen production system involving methylcyclohexane

open access: yesInternational journal of hydrogen energy, 2019
Although many studies have looked at safety issues relating to hydrogen fueling stations, few studies have analyzed the security risks, such as deliberate attack of the station by threats such as terrorists and disgruntled employees.
