Ceria‐Based Catalysts for Sustainable Processing of Plastic Waste

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, Volume 7, Issue 6, June 2026.
The properties of CeO2‐based catalysts for facilitating the chemical recycling of plastic waste. New chemical recycling processes for mitigating plastic pollution are being developed every day. Plastic depolymerization is typically conducted under high temperatures and pressures in pyrolysis, hydrogenolysis, ammonolysis, and glycolysis processes, which

Identification of Exhaled Volatile Organic Compounds Biomarkers for Lung Cancer Under Data‐Limited Conditions Using Data Augmentation and Multi‐View Feature Selection

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, Volume 2, Issue 3, June 2026.
This work introduces a novel framework for identifying non‐small cell lung cancer biomarkers from hundreds of volatile organic compounds in breath, analyzed via gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry. This method integrates generative data augmentation and multi‐view feature selection, providing a stable and accurate solution for biomarker discovery in ...

Aromatization and isomerization of methylcyclohexane over Ni catalysts supported on different supports

open access: yesGreen Energy & Environment, 2019
In this work, nickel metal supported on different supports (SiO2, Al2O3, ZSM-5) were prepared by spraying nickel nitrate on the supports and calcined at 873 K. Then, they were characterized by XRD, XRF, N2 adsorption–desorption, NH3-TPD, MCH-TPD, H2-TPR,

Studies in the cyclohexane series. Part VI. The stereoisomeric forms of 4-methyl-, and 3-methylcyclohexane-1: 1-dicarboxylic acids and a conclusive chemical evidence for the multiplanar cyclohexane ring

open access: yes, 1942
A pair of stereo-isomeric 4-methylcyclohexane-1: 1-dicarboxylic acids has been prepared from a pair of isomeric 1-carboxy-4-methylcyclohexane-1-acetic acids.

Exsolved SrTiRuOx‐Based Catalyst for Selective Hydrodeoxygenation and Hydrodecarboxylation of PET‐Glycolysis‐Derived Bis(2‐hydroxyethyl) Terephthalate

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 11, 15 June 2026.
The exsolved perovskite catalyst SrTiRuOx was synthesized and applied to the catalytic HDO of PET‐derived BHET, producing deoxygenated hydrocarbons. A high cyclohexane selectivity of 69% and a deoxygenated product yield of 40 carbon% were achieved.

Gas‐Phase Hydrodeoxygenation of m‐Cresol Using Isopropanol as Hydrogen Donor Over a Ni‐Supported Catalyst

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 11, 15 June 2026.
Continuous‐flow hydrodeoxygenation of m‐cresol assisted by catalytic transfer hydrogenation (CTH‐HDO) was carried out at 300°C and atmospheric pressure over a Ni/SBA‐15 catalyst, using isopropanol as a renewable hydrogen donor. Under optimized conditions, a toluene selectivity of 56% was achieved, highlighting the potential of this approach as a safer ...
