Acylierungsreaktionen an Methylhydrazin

Experientia, 1964Cytostatic active methylhydrazine derivatives split off formaldehyde after mild dehydrogenation with potassium hexacyanoferrate (III). It is suggested that the primary formedazomethines andN-hydroxymethylderivatives participate in cytostatic efficacy by their alkylating ability (aminomethylation).

ChemInform Abstract: ACYLIERUNGSRK. AN METHYLHYDRAZIN
Chemischer Informationsdienst.

Substituted 2-Aminobenzoyl Derivatives of Methylhydrazine
Synthetic Communications, 1976Abstract Acylation of arylhydrazines gives acyl 2-arylhydrazides1 while acylation of alkylhydrazines yields either 1-alkyl or 2-alkylhydrazides depending on the choice of acylating agent. Earlier examples of the variability of acylation sites in the alkylhydrazines2,3 were systematically reinvestigated by Hinman4 and Moore5 who established that esters,

Reaction of pyrylium salts with methylhydrazine
Journal of the Chemical Society D: Chemical Communications, 1970The reaction of (1; R = Ph or Me) with methyl-hydrazine leads to a variety of products, (2e), (3d), (3e), (5), (6a), and (7), depending on the selected pyrylium salt and reaction conditions.

The mechanisms of multi-channel reactions (1) CH3NHNH2 + H → products (R1) and (2) (CH3)2NNH2 + H → products (R2) have been investigated, and the dynamic properties are studied by using the dual-level direct dynamics method. The electronic structures and energies of the stationary points are calculated by the combination of various methods and basis ...

Initial experiences with methylhydrazine, a new cytotoxic agent
Clinical Radiology, 1966The authors present their results using methylhydrazine (‘Ro 4-6467’, ‘Natulan’) in the treatment of 40 patients with malignant disease. The progress of 29 patients could be adequately assessed. Remissions occurred frequently in patients with Hodgkin's disease and some solid tumours also showed a response.

The Treatment of Lymphomas with Vincaleukoblastine and Methylhydrazine
Acta geneticae medicae et gemellologiae, 1968SummaryResults of Chemotherapic treatment in Hodgkin's disease are reported. 23 cases were treated by Vincaleucoblastine, 19 by Methylhydrazine, and 12 by both drugs. With VLB we obtained 6 complete remissions, 12 partial remissions and 5 failures; with MH the remissions were 9 complete, 4 partial and 6 failures.

Reaction of methylhydrazine with dimethyl chlorothiophosphate
Journal of the Chemical Society, Dalton Transactions, 1994The reaction of 2 equivalents of methylhydrazine with 1 equivalent of (MeO)2P(S)Cl at 0 °C produced the phosphorus hydrazide (MeO)2P(S)NMeNH21 in good yield. However, at 25 °C a mixture of three products was obtained according to 1H and 31P NMR spectra. The pure individual components were separated by column chromatography.
