A method to determine methylmethacrylate in air [PDF]
To determine the air concentrations of methylmethacrylate monomer and thus obtain information about the safety in the operating theater, a methylmethacrylate Dräger tube was used in connection with a bellows pump. This method gives an instantly readable value correlated with more complicated gas chromatographic measurements.

Methylmethacrylate Hypersensitivity in Orthopaedic Surgery [PDF]
The sensitivity to methylmethacrylate monomer in 25 patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery was studied. No relation could be found between the cardiovascular reactions observed during the cementation of the femoral prosthesis and the complement system, investigated by measuring the serum concentration of the haemolytic complement, components 3 and 4.
