Fractional Maximal Functions in Metric Measure Spaces
We study the mapping properties of fractional maximal operators in Sobolev and Campanato spaces in metric measure spaces. We show that, under certain restrictions on the underlying metric measure space, fractional maximal operators improve the Sobolev ...

Anisotropic stars via embedding approach in Brans–Dicke gravity
In the present article, the solution of the Einstein–Maxwell field equations in the presence of a massive scalar field under the Brans-Dicke (BD) gravity is obtained via embedding approach, which describes a charged anisotropic strange star model.

Metrically regular square of metrically regular bipartite graphs of diameter $D = 7$ [PDF]
Summary: The present paper deals with the spectra of powers of metrically regular graphs. We prove that there is only two tables of the parameters of an association scheme so that the corresponding metrically regular bipartite graph of diameter \(D=7\) (8 distinct eigenvalues of the adjacency matrix) has the metrically regular square.

A regular metric does not ensure the regularity of spacetime
In this paper we try to clarify that a regular metric can generate a singular spacetime. Our work focuses on a static and spherically symmetric spacetime in which regularity exists when all components of the Riemann tensor are finite. There is work in the literature that assumes that the regularity of the metric is a sufficient condition to guarantee ...

ABSTRACT Background Central nervous system (CNS) involvement in childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is assessed by cell counting and cytomorphology from cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and is used for treatment stratification worldwide. The ratio of “CNS2” patients in clinical trials ranges from 3% to 40%, with unclear prognostic significance ...

Hölder metric regularity of set-valued maps
International audienceThis paper is devoted to metric regularity of set-valued maps from a complete metric space to a Banach space. In particular we extend a known characterization of the regularity modulus to maps defined on reflexive spaces. The higher

On RG-spaces and the regularity degree
We continue the study of a lattice-ordered ring G(X), associated with the ring C(X). Following, X is called RG when G(X) = C(Xδ). An RG-space must have a dense set of very weak P-points.

Local linear approach: Conditional density estimate for functional and censored data
Let YY be a random real response, which is subject to right censoring by another random variable CC. In this paper, we study the nonparametric local linear estimation of the conditional density of a scalar response variable and when the covariable takes ...

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...
