A new strategy that simultaneous use of KHCO3 activated biochar and nano-MgO incorporation for Pb2+ and Cd2+ removal from water was raised. After activating by KHCO3, the BC showed a higher surface area and could carry more MgO nanoparticles the BC owned.

High frequency dielectric properties of MgO, Fe/MgO and Cr/MgO
Journal of Materials Science, 1981The study of the dielectric constant and loss in pure single-crystal MgO and in Fe- and Cr-doped crystals, the low frequency results of which have been reported [1], has now been extended to cover frequencies from 500 Hz to 9 GHz. Measurements were made on the same specimens, at room temperature, using bridge, cavity, slotted-line and cavity-resonator ...

The dielectric behaviour of single-crystal MgO, Fe/MgO and Cr/MgO
Journal of Materials Science, 1981The dielectric constantse′ and loss factors,e″, for pure single-crystal MgO and for Fe-and Cr-doped crystals have been measured at frequencies, ω, from 500 Hz to 500 kHz at room temperature. For pure MgO at 1 kHz the values ofe′ and the loss tangent, tan δ, (9.62 and 2.16×10−3, respectively) agree well with the data of Von Hippel; the conductivity, σ ...

Tunnel current measurement of MgO and MgO/Fe/MgO nanoregions during TEM observation
Superlattices and Microstructures, 2008Abstract Conductance measurements of nanostructures with simultaneous transmission electron microscopy (TEM) were performed on thin insulating MgO films (2–3 nm thick) and MgO/Fe/MgO tri-layer films (2 nm/1 nm/2 nm) deposited on tip-shaped Au electrodes.

The effect of the MgO buffer layer thickness on magnetic anisotropy in MgO/Fe/Cr/MgO buffer/MgO(001)
Journal of Applied Physics, 2016The relationship between the magnetic properties and MgO buffer layer thickness d was studied in epitaxial MgO/Fe(t)/Cr/MgO(d) layers grown on MgO(001) substrate in which the Fe thickness t ranged from 0.4 nm to 1.1 nm. For 0.4 nm ≤ t ≤ 0.7 nm, a non-monotonic coercivity dependence on the MgO buffer thickness was shown by perpendicular magneto-optic ...

Atomic diffusion processes in MgO/Fe/MgO multilayer
Superlattices and Microstructures, 2015Abstract In present work, atomic diffusion processes in MgO/Fe/MgO structure is investigated. This structure is deposited by using e-beam evaporation method in ultra-high vacuum (10 −7 Torr). X-ray diffraction pattern exhibits amorphous nature of MgO layer, however, Au and Fe layers are polycrystalline in nature.
