Enhancement of anisotropic magnetoresistance in MgO/NiFe/MgO trilayers via NiFe nanoparticles in MgO layers

Journal of Applied Physics, 2012
MgO/NiFe/MgO trilayers, the new development in highly sensitive anisotropic magnetoresistance (AMR) sensor film materials, exhibit severely reduced magnetoresistance ratios at small NiFe thicknesses. By inserting ultrathin NiFe(І) layers into the top and bottom MgO layers of MgO/NiFe/MgO trilayers, films with a structure of MgO/NiFe(І)/MgO/NiFe/MgO ...

Biogenic synthesis of MgO nanoparticles from different extracts (flower, bark, leaf) of Tecoma stans (L.) and their utilization in selected organic dyes treatment.

Journal of Hazardous Materials, 2020
The occurrence and influence of dyes-containing effluents are alarmingly serious; hence, the treatment of such wastewater needs to be undertaken. Here, we report the biosynthesis strategy and utilisation of MgO nanoparticles (MgO NPs) from distinct ...

Sintering high-purity fusions of MgO and MgOAl2O3

Refractories, 1981
The porosity and strength of specimens of fused MgO obtained by induction smelting in cold crucibles and having ≤1% impurities is significantly increased by the addition of 1% CeO2, 5% ZrO2, and 20% of the vibromilled component plus 5% Y2O3. An addition of 5% Y2O3 has the greatest effect on the sintering characteristics of the MgO·Al2O3 specimens.

Diatomite supported by CaO/MgO nanocomposite as heterogeneous catalyst for biodiesel production from waste cooking oil

Journal of Molecular Liquids, 2019
Production of renewable, biodegradable, and non-toxic biodiesel by recycling waste cooking oil offers a profitable way to reduce the raw materials of waste oil. Low-cost, efficient, reusable, and ecofriendly heterogeneous catalyst is therefore obligatory

Magnetic characterization of CoFeB∕MgO and CoFe∕MgO interfaces

Applied Physics Letters, 2007
The use of CoFeB ferromagnetic electrodes in place of CoFe has been shown to significantly increase the tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR) of MgO based magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs). By using soft x-ray scattering techniques, we show that the behavior of the magnetic moments located at the CoFe–MgO interface are drastically different from the rest of

Sorption enhanced steam reforming of methanol for high-purity hydrogen production over Cu-MgO/Al2O3 bifunctional catalysts

Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, 2020
Sorption enhanced steam reforming of methanol (SESRM) can significantly promote the hydrogen production process with simultaneous CO2 sorption. The mechanical mixture of catalysts and sorbents as a conventional approach is complex and requires high ...

Nanoconfinement of metal oxide MgO and ZnO in zeolitic imidazolate framework ZIF-8 for CO2 adsorption and regeneration.

Journal of Hazardous Materials, 2020
Microporous materials exhibit fast CO2 adsorption rate with possible sacrificed capacity, while CO2 chemisorption on metal oxides is remarkable but kinetics and reactive area are critical.
