Breaking of the Up‐Down Symmetry of DNA Origami on a Solid Substrate
In this study, the surface orientation of chiral double‐L (CDL) DNA origami on mica was controlled by tuning magnesium ion (Mg2⁺) concentration. This simple yet powerful method, exploiting global shape distortions, achieved 100% S orientation enabling precise nanostructure deposition.

Nanoscopic Mapping of the Extracellular Space in Amyloid Plaque‐rich Cortex
The extracellular space and diffusion around amyloid plaques are examined using shadow imaging and single‐particle tracking. Increased diffusivity is found near plaques, extracellular matrix alterations, and plaque core penetrability that varies with amyloid phenotype.

Mica is a group name for a number of hydrous aluminosilicate minerals, such as muscovite, phlogopite, biotite and lepidolite. Muscovite and phlogopite are the principal commercial micas. Muscovite of commercial interest occurs in sheet and flake form associated with quartz and feldspar in pegmatites.
