The Critical Role of Retailers in Leveraging Sustainability of a Global Supply Chain
ABSTRACT Shade‐grown coffee farming supports biodiversity and generates additional sustainability outcomes, though the drivers of this approach are poorly understood. Previous research on coffee sustainability has focused on producers or consumers, potentially overlooking the role of retailers in commodity supply chains.

Tackling Environmental Impact: A New Support Tool for Sustainable Healthcare Waste Management
ABSTRACT This study proposes a novel framework integrating Environmental Risk Assessment (ERA) and Material Flow Analysis (MFA) within the Deming Cycle framework to address this gap. While valuable tools, ERA and MFA offer limited perspectives on environmental impact when used alone.

Synthetic Lignin Oligomers: Analytical Techniques, Challenges, and Opportunities
The review begins by discussing lignin and its structural complexity, followed by challenges in elucidating depolymerization products and the analytical techniques used. It then focuses on the chemical structure of synthetic lignin oligomers, their synthesis mechanisms, and their significance in current science. Finally, scientific gaps are identified,

mibPOPdb: An online database for microbial biodegradation of persistent organic pollutants
This study presents the Microbial Biodegradation of Persistent Organic Pollutants Database (mibPOPdb) database, a web‐accessible literature‐based microbial biodegradation of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) resource. We also developed a robust chemical biodegradability prediction model with Graph Neural Networks.
