The continuing significance of chiral agrochemicals

In the time frame 2018–2023, around 43% of the 35 chiral agrochemicals introduced to the market (herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, acaricides, and nematicides) contain one or more stereogenic centers in the molecule, and almost 69% of them have been marketed as racemic mixtures of enantiomers or stereoisomers.

Functionality and Storage Evaluation of Fish Freshness Indicators Based on the Incorporation of Anthocyanins Extracted From Winery Grape Pomace Into Polyvinyl Alcohol/Starch Films

Smart indicators were composed of polyvinyl alcohol and starch, infused with anthocyanins extracted from winery residues based on the solvent casting method. The developed films were characterised for microstructure integrity, water affinity properties and colour‐changing abilities.
