THE MICROCOMPUTER REVOLUTION AND THE ECONOMIC EVALUATION OF COCONUT FARMING SYSTEMS
Major developments, have taken place in computer technology in the last decade and the rate of change is increasing. Reductions in the size and cost of microcomputers and the availability of vastly improved software can have, a beneficial impact on the

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

TELEMETRY DATA MANAGEMENT: A GIS‐BASED APPROACH
: We developed standard procedures for storing and managing telemetry data on microcomputers to facilitate analysis. Raw location and descriptive data for several wild turkey (Meleagris gallopavo) research projects were entered into microcomputers in a ...

Art, Maths, Electronics and Micros: The Late Work of Stan Ostoja-Kotkowski
To date, most work on computers in art has focused on the Algorists (1960s⁻) and on later cyber arts (1990s⁻). The use of microcomputers is an underexplored area, with the 1980s constituting a particular gap in the knowledge.

YAP1::TFE3 mediates endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal plasticity in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma
The YAP1::TFE3 fusion protein drives endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndMT) plasticity, resulting in the loss of endothelial characteristics and gain of mesenchymal‐like properties, including resistance to anoikis, increased migratory capacity, and loss of contact growth inhibition in endothelial cells.

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).
