Integrating Optical Feedback Alignment and Fluidic Control for Multiphase Flow‐Assisted In Situ 3D Printing

open access: yesJournal of Separation Science, Volume 49, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Additive manufacturing is transforming how microfluidic devices are prototyped and fabricated. Among various 3D printing methods, stereolithography (SLA) has become a dominant technique for microfluidics due to its high resolution and design flexibility, with widespread use in lab‐on‐a‐chip applications.

Role of the cell-wall structure in the retention of bacteria by microfiltration membranes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
This experimental study investigates the retention of bacteria by porous membranes. The transfer of bacteria larger than the nominal pore size of microfiltration track-etched membranes has been studied for several kinds of bacterial strains.

Abnormal Expansion Along the Synthesis of Zinc Stannate: A Way for Porous Ceramics Without Addition of Pore Generators

open access: yesJournal of the American Ceramic Society, Volume 109, Issue 2, February 2026.
The abnormal expansion associated with the simultaneous synthesis and sintering of Zn2SnO4 from ZnO and SnO2 is due to the reaction mechanism and correlated with the conversion. This phenomenon opens the way to manufacture porous ceramics without the addition of pore generators, simplifying the process, and especially the thermal treatment.
