Domain Wall Rebounds Driven by Competing Entropic and Spin‐Transfer Torques in Cylindrical Nanowires
Domain‐wall motion in cylindrical magnetic nanowires driven by nanosecond current pulses. Low current densities efficiently displace domain walls, whereas higher currents cause rebound at the wire ends. The effect results from the interplay between spin‐transfer torque and thermally induced processes, highlighting the role of thermal gradients in ...

Manipulating and trapping skyrmions by magnetic field gradients
The effective manipulation of skyrmion motion introduces the technologically relevant possibility of skyrmion-based spintronics. Here we show how a magnetic skyrmion can be captured by a radially spatial gradient of the magnetic field.

Current-driven vortex oscillations in metallic nanocontacts [PDF]
We present experimental evidence of sub-GHz spin-transfer oscillations in metallic nano-contacts that are due to the translational motion of a magnetic vortex. The vortex is shown to execute large-amplitude orbital motion outside the contact region. Good

2D Magnetic and Topological Quantum Materials and Devices for Ultralow Power Spintronics
2D magnets and topological quantum materials enable ultralow‐power spintronics by combining robust magnetic order with symmetry‐protected, Berry‐curvature‐driven transport. Fundamentals of 2D anisotropy and spin‐orbit‐coupling induced band inversion are linked to scalable growth and vdW stacking.

Finite Element Formalism for Micromagnetism [PDF]
The aim of this work is to present the details of the finite element approach we developed for solving the Landau-Lifschitz-Gilbert equations in order to be able to treat problems involving complex geometries. There are several possibilities to solve the

Dynamics of micromagnetic measurements [PDF]
The response of a micromagnetic system to changes in ambient temperature or applied field is studied as a function of the overbarrier relaxation rate and of the intermediate nonequilibrium states through which the system is passing. We first derive an equation for the thermomagnetic curve and the corresponding time-dependent dc susceptibility.

Ordered three‐dimensional anodic aluminum oxide (3D‐AAO) nanoarchitectures with longitudinal and transverse pores enable architecture‐driven metamaterials. The review maps fabrication advances, including hybrid pulse anodization, and shows how 3D‐AAO templates tailor properties across magnetism, energy, catalysis, and sensing.

Magnetic free energy at elevated temperatures and hysteresis of magnetic particles
We derive a free energy for weakly anisotropic ferromagnets which is valid in the whole temperature range and interpolates between the micromagnetic energy at zero temperature and the Landau free energy near the Curie point T_c.
