Hydromagnetic Flow of Micropolar Nanofluid [PDF]

open access: yesSymmetry, 2020
Similar to other fluids (Newtonian and non-Newtonian), micropolar fluid also exhibits symmetric flow and exact symmetric solution similar to the Navier–Stokes equation; however, it is not always realizable. In this article, the Buongiorno mathematical model of hydromagnetic micropolar nanofluid is considered.

Thermal convection in a layer of micropolar nanofluid

Asia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, 2021
AbstractThe theoretical investigation of thermal convection in a horizontal layer of micropolar nanofluid is examined within the rule of linear stability hypothesis. The model applied for nanofluid integrates the impact of Brownian and thermophoresis diffusions.

Numerical analysis of micropolar hybrid nanofluid

Applied Nanoscience (Switzerland), 2018
Hybrid nanofluid has been streamlined as a new class of nanofluid, marked by its thermal properties and potential utilities which serve the purpose to enhance the rate of heat transfer. The main aim of the current analysis is to present a comparison between the behavior of traditional nanofluid and emerging hybrid nanofluid in the presence of ...

Exact solutions of micropolar SWCNTs nanofluid with heat transfer

Heat Transfer, 2020
AbstractThe present study is aimed to analyze the unsteady micropolar nanofluid flow passing over an oscillating infinite vertical plate. The flow is affected by thermal radiation and Newtonian heating. Single‐walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) are added to enrich the thermal properties of the micropolar fluid.

Modeling the natural convective flow of micropolar nanofluids

International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, 2014
Abstract A micropolar model for nanofluidic suspensions is proposed in order to investigate theoretically the natural convection of nanofluids. The microrotation of the nanoparticles seems to play a significant role into flow regime and in that manner it possibly can interpret the controversial experimental data and theoretical numerical results over

Micropolar nanofluid overlying a porous layer: Thermosolutal convection

Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part N: Journal of Nanomaterials, Nanoengineering and Nanosystems, 2022
An investigation of the stability of an micropolar nanofluid overlying a sparsely packed porous medium and implanted in a parallel conduit is reviewed. Linear and also nonlinear terms are incorporated for the study. A Darcy-Brinkman-Forchheimer drag force model is deployed. To evaluate nanoscale effects the Buongiorno model is employed.

MHD micropolar nanofluid with non Fourier and non Fick's law

International Communications in Heat and Mass Transfer, 2021
Abstract The present study addresses the magnetohydrodynamic micropolar nanofluid past a stretching sheet. All the analysis are carried out by using non-Fourier and non-Fick's models. The effect of viscous dissipation, thermal radiation and Ohmic heating have also been incorporated in the energy equation.
