The Effect of Variable Viscosities on Micropolar Flow of Two Nanofluids

Zeitschrift für Naturforschung A, 2016
Abstract A study of nanofluids is carried out that reveals the effect of rotational inertia and other physical parameters on the heat transfer and fluid flow. Temperature-dependent dynamic viscosity makes the microrotation viscosity parameter and the micro inertia density variant as well.

Micropolar Nanofluid Wedged Between Permeable Fluid Saturated with Nanoparticles

Journal of Nanofluids, 2023
This paper aim to discuss micropolar nanofluid stuffed between permeable nanofluids in a horizontal channel. Single phase Tiwari-Das model is used to define nanofluid and Brinkman model to define permeable fluid. Using appropriate boundary and interface conditions, closed form elucidation are evaluated with the help of perturbation method.

Micropolar effects on the effective shear viscosity of nanofluids

Physics of Fluids
The modified size-dependent Einstein's and Brinkman's solutions are established for the effective shear viscosity of rigid particle suspensions taking into account the micropolar effects in the base fluid. Solutions are obtained based on the homogenization approach and allow us to take into account the influence of the particle size.

An in‐depth comparative analysis of entropy generation and heat transfer in micropolar‐Williamson, micropolar‐Maxwell, and micropolar‐Casson binary nanofluids within PTSCs

ZAMM - Journal of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics / Zeitschrift für Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik
AbstractSolar energy holds promise as a sustainable and environmentally friendly source of power. In this study, we focus on improving the thermal efficiency of parabolic trough solar collectors (PTSCs) by investigating the performance of three different binary micropolar nanofluids – micropolar‐Casson, micropolar‐Maxwell, and micropolar‐Williamson ...

Heat Transfer Enhancement of Magneto-Micropolar Nanofluid Over a Wedge

Journal of Nanofluids, 2020
Current investigation characterizes the flow and heat transmission of magneto-micropolar nanofluid through a non-isothermal wedge. The base-fluid as water and micropolar nanofluid as Copper or Alumina-nanoparticles are considered. Applying the similarity transformations along with non-dimensional quantities the formulated equations of the investigation

Investigation of free convection in micropolar nanofluid with induced magnetic field

The European Physical Journal Plus, 2019
The spotlight of the study is mainly the effect of the induced magnetic field on the free convection for a non-Newtonian micropolar nanofluid using the single phase model. The nondimensional equations describing the fluid motion, energy, angular momentum and the induced magnetic field of nanofluid are solved using the Keller box method.
