AbstractIn this paper, we delve into the behavior of binary micropolar nanofluids, specifically micropolar‐Jeffrey, micropolar‐Oldroyd‐B, and micropolar‐Second grade, within the parabolic trough solar collector (PTSC) configurations. The primary objective is to enhance the collective efficiency of this device by means of a comprehensive comparison ...

Flow over a permeable stretching sheet in micropolar nanofluids with suction
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2014The flow over a permeable stretching sheet in micropolar nanofluids for suction case is investigated. The boundary layer equations are transformed to ordinary differential equations then are solved by using the shooting technique. Copper (Cu), alumina (Al2O3) and titania (TiO2) in water-based micropolar nanofluid have been considered.

Radiative flow of micropolar nanofluid accounting thermophoresis and Brownian moment
International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, 2017Abstract This article describes the Brownian motion and thermophoresis aspects in nonlinear flow of micropolar nanoliquid. Stretching surface with linear velocity creates the flow. Energy expression is modeled subject to consideration of thermal radiation phenomenon. Effect of Newtonian heating is considered.

Flow of a micropolar CNT-based nanofluid across a squeezing channel
Physica Scripta, 2019Abstract This study investigates the flow of viscous micropolar nanofluids. Single-walled carbon nanotubes are taken as the solid constituent. Dynamic viscosity is temperature dependent. The flow take place across two parallel squeezing plates with an unsteady magnetic field normal to the surface of the plates.

Retracted: Heat and Mass Transfer of Nanofluid from Horizontal Cylinder to Micropolar Fluid
Journal of Thermophysics and Heat Transfer, 2015Buoyancy-driven laminar free-convection flow, heat, and mass of a non-Newtonian nanofluid from a horizontal circular cylinder to a micropolar fluid have been investigated numerically using an implicit finite difference scheme. The model used for the nanofluid incorporates the effects of Brownian motion and thermophoresis.

MHD flow of radiative micropolar nanofluid in a porous channel: optimal and numerical solutions
Neural Computing and Applications, 2016The flow of a radiative and electrically conducting micropolar nanofluid inside a porous channel is investigated. After implementing the similarity transformations, the partial differential equations representing the radiative flow are reduced to a system of ordinary differential equations.
