A serum and cream moisturization regimen outperforms separate use in sustaining hydration, reducing TEWL, and balancing surface lipids over an 8‐h study

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cosmetic Science, EarlyView.
Over 8 h, using a Hyaluronic Acid Serum in combination with a Moisturizing Cream sustained skin hydration more than either product alone, while lowering TEWL and normalizing surface lipids. Volunteers also reported a more immediate and long‐lasting moisturization with the combined regimen. Created in BioRender. Maldonado Lopez, A.
