Adsorption of enantiomeric and racemic tyrosine on Cu(111): A scanning tunneling microscopy study
The adsorption of enantiomers and a racemic mixture of tyrosine (tyr) on Cu(111) has been investigated by cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical scanning tunneling microscopy. D-tyr and L-tyr molecules adsorb on Cu(111) and show a (4 x 4) structure.

This study presents a magneto‐mechanical strategy that incorporates FP@MSCs into an aligned PCL/GelMA nerve guidance conduit. Magnetic stimulation increases membrane tension in FP@MSCs, triggering cytoskeletal remodeling, Schwann cell‐like differentiation, and TIMP1 secretion. TIMP1 activates ITGB1/CD63–FAK signaling in NE‐4C cells, increasing membrane

Atomic and Electronic Structure of Graphene and Graphene Intercalation Compounds. X-Ray Standing Wave and Scanning Tunnelling Microscopy Studies [PDF]
The morphology of graphene/Iridium(111) was studied by x-ray standing wave (XSW) measurements. A dependence of the moire corrugation on the graphene coverage is observed.

Protein‐Nanoarchitectures for Low‐Field Intracellular Electro‐Immunomodulation
DHQ‐SDH‐mediated binding of AuNPs drives the formation of interconnected, chain‐like nanoarchitectures with enhanced electrical conductivity. These conductive assemblies undergo macrophage uptake and enable low‐field electrical stimulation, promoting M1‐to‐M2 phenotypic switching with decreased iNOS and increased CD206 expression. Such protein‐mediated

Eu‐doped {ZnCdO/ZnO} structures grown on Si are developed, showcasing dual‐functionality controlled by europium doping. While high europium concentration transforms the device into an ultrafast, self‐powered photodetector, low‐doped structures can be used as an optoelectronic synapse.

Publisher Summary Scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) has been finding ever increasing application in surface physics. STM, even as it is used now, has furnished fascinating results, and undoubtedly, holds the greatest promise for surface physics. This is because of its unique resolution that can approach hundreds of angstroms along the normal to the
