Parallel-Coupled-Line Bandpass Filter with Notch for Ultra-Wideband (UWB) Applications

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2023
A compact parallel-coupled-line microstrip bandpass filter with a very wideband passband and a narrow notched band is demonstrated in this paper. The presented bandpass filter was constructed from one section of three parallel-coupled-lines which has a ...

Novel Compact Quad‐Band HMSIW BPF and FPD With Low Loss and Tunable Passbands

open access: yesInternational Journal of RF and Microwave Computer-Aided Engineering, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This work introduces a new quad‐band bandpass filter (BPF) and filtering power divider (FPD) based on half‐mode substrate integrated waveguide (HMSIW) technology and metamaterial concept. To achieve a high level of miniaturization, multiple design approaches are jointly employed, including HMSIW implementation, evanescent‐mode operation, stepped ...

Conformal Filtering Patch Antenna With Dual Independently Tunable Radiation Nulls

open access: yesInternational Journal of RF and Microwave Computer-Aided Engineering, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
A conformal, compact, and flexible patch filtering antenna with independently tunable radiation nulls is presented. By etching open‐ended split‐ring resonator (SRR) slots and meandered slots on a conformal microstrip patch, two independently controllable radiation nulls are introduced to enhance band‐edge selectivity.

Reflectionless bandpass filter with flat passband, high selectivity, and enhanced out-of-band suppression

open access: yesTongxin xuebao
Currently, the design of reflectionless filters was challenged by insufficient selectivity and insufficient flatness. Therefore, a two-port microstrip reflectionless bandpass filter topology was proposed to provide a reference for addressing these ...

Wideband Single Notch Band‐Pass Filter for 5G Applications Based on Inverted Symmetry Grounded Patch Resonator

open access: yesInternational Journal of RF and Microwave Computer-Aided Engineering, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
In this paper, a novel wideband band‐pass filter with a single notch is presented. Designed to cover the LTE 4G band (2.50–2.69 GHz), the 5G N77 (3.30–4.20 GHz), and N78 (3.30–3.80 GHz) bands, as well as the upper 6 GHz band (6.425–7.125 GHz), the proposed filter uses a grounded patch etched with meander line resonators exhibiting inverted symmetry ...

Modelling and validation of a simple and compact wide upper stop band ultra-wideband bandpass filter

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2014
A compact ultra-wideband (UWB) bandpass filter (BPF) is proposed based on end coupled microstrip transmission line, defected ground structure and defected microstrip structure.

A Compact Wideband HTS Duplexer Using Dual‐Mode Resonators with Improved Isolation

open access: yesInternational Journal of RF and Microwave Computer-Aided Engineering, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
A wideband high‐temperature superconducting (HTS) duplexer is designed and is characteristic of more than 50% fraction bandwidth in its two channels. The duplexer is composed of a linear half‐wavelength resonator and two channels. Each channel is composed of five dual‐mode resonators with the attenuated second harmonic.
