Narrowband microstrip HTS filter
2016 21st International Conference on Microwave, Radar and Wireless Communications (MIKON), 2016The new type of narrowband bandpass filter is presented. The design and realization of the filter in microstrip technology is described. The filter has been etched from YBCO thin film deposited on sapphire substrate. The filter has bandwidth of 0.2 %, RL better than 20 dB and a size of 2 inch in diameter.

Optimization of microstrip filters tolerances
The Experience of Designing and Application of CAD Systems in Microelectronics, 2003. CADSM 2003. Proceedings of the 7th International Conference., 2004The procedure of optimization of microstrip filter tolerances allowing for correlation of member tolerances is proposed. The filters realized on the basis of elements with lumped parameters are considered. The model for calculating tolerances is shaped by mapping transfer functions into the space of interval values.

A novel microstrip loop filter
Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2005Conventional loop filters often have large areas that are not fully utilized. To alleviate this problem, a novel elliptic-microstrip loop filter centered at 6.65 GHz and with a fractional bandwidth of 23% is proposed. The fabricated filter has a measured insertion loss of about 1.5 dB and a 0.6-dB ripple. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.

A novel microstrip bandpass filter
Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2004AbstractA novel compact microstrip bandpass filter which is realized by combining new slow‐wave effect with dual‐parallel coupling, is proposed. The filter is not only compact in size, but also has low insertion loss and sharp rejection. A demonstration filter is optimally designed and fabricated.

Miniaturized microstrip ring filter
2009 IEEE Student Conference on Research and Development (SCOReD), 2009Miniaturized microstrip ring filter is presented. Four lumped capacitors are added in the initial ring resonator topology to shift the resonant frequency to about 50% of its nominal value, leading to size reduction of the filter. The required value of the capacitors is calculated using tuning synthesis equations of the ring resonator.

Current modeling of microstrip filters
Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2005This paper presents the current modeling of microwave filters using only entire-domain basis functions. Two sets of entire-domain basis functions are introduced, and their results are compared with the measurements and with those obtained using subdomain basis functions. It also discusses the evaluation of the matrices using the method of moments (MoM).
