S-C-O Isotopes, Fluid Inclusion Microthermometry, and the Genesis of Ore Bearing Fluids at Qaleh-Zari Fe-Oxide Cu-Au-Ag Mine, Iran [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Sciences, Islamic Republic of Iran, 2005
Qaleh-Zari is a Fe-oxide Cu-Ag-Au vein type deposit located 180 km south of Birjand, in eastern Iran. Host rocks are mainly Tertiary calc-alkaline to K-rich calc-alkaline with transition to shoshonitic andesite and andesitic basalts, but in the central ...

Silicate-melt inclusions in recent Vesuvius lavas (A.D. 1631–1944): I. Petrography and microthermometry

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Mineralogy, 1992
Silicate-melt inclusions hosted by clinopyroxene, leucite, olivine, and plagioclase phenocrysts have been studied by petrography and microthermometry. Fourteen lavas erupted during the Mt. Vesuvius (southern Italy) recent activity (A.D. 1631-1944) have been examined.

REMOTE THERMOMETRY AND MICROTHERMOMETRY

open access: yes, 2008
"In chapter one we reviewed de concepts to asses remote sensing systems and the typical errors that can mislead the measurements, at the chapter two we review the figures of merit from the ideal thermal and quantum detectors and the incidance from a gray body detected in a wavelength interval. We apply the result to a tungsten lamp. At chapter three we

Microthermometry of fluid inclusions in calcite from Fuerteventura carbonatites: composition and formation conditions

open access: yes, 2022
The petrographic analysis in calcite minerals in carbonatitic dykes from Fuerteventura Basal Complex (Ajuy, Punta de la Nao) shows the presence of isolated primary fluid inclusions, corrobora-ting their magmatic origin instead of a late-stage origin.

Mineralogy, alteration, fluid inclusions microthermometry and genesis of the Cu-Au Kalateh Dasht deposit, south of Shahrood, NE Iran

open access: yesJournal of Economic Geology
The Kalateh Dasht deposit is situated in the northern part of the Central Iran structural zone, northeast of the Toroud-Chah Shirin magmatic arc. The Cu-Au mineralization is hosted by diorite porphyry subvolcanic rocks with a post-Eocene age.
