Ultrasound‐Actuated Gene Editing in Human Kidney Organoids
Peptide‐stabilized nanoemulsions enable spatially controlled, ultrasound‐triggered delivery of gene‐editing proteins deep within human kidney organoid tissues. Focused acoustic pulses drive droplet vaporization, propelling cargo into target renal cells while preserving native tissue microarchitecture. This non‐viral platform improves both the depth and

Control of high power microwave radiation by electromagnetic band gap structures
A plasma control of powerful microwave propagation through the 1D and 2D EBG structures is investigated. Pulsed discharges in argon (or helium) at atmospheric pressure are applied as the plasma inhomogeneities. Temporal behavior of electron concentration

Enhancing CAR‐T Cell Efficacy in Solid Tumors by Inhibiting CCL5/VEGF‐Mediated Angiogenesis
This study reveals that CAR‐T cells in solid tumors produce CCL5, which paradoxically induces VEGF and angiogenesis to promote tumor growth. Blocking CCL5/VEGF signaling—through gene knockout, or the CCR5 inhibitor maraviroc—significantly enhances the antitumor efficacy of CAR‑T therapy (the diagram was created in Biorender).

Microwave Diagnostics for Studies of Electromagnetic Scattering by Fluorescent Lamp Plasma
This paper reports a related microwave diagnostic method that measures both the electron number density and the electron-neutral collision frequency, which are crucial to understand the behavior of microwave traveling in plasma.Arrays of standard ...

Sheath and bulk expansion induced by RF field in atmospheric pressure microwave plasma
A large axial volume expansion of microwave driven plasma at atmospheric pressure is attained with a low power radio frequency (RF) field at an axial location well isolated from the original plasma bulk.

This study identifies that methylglyoxal may play an important role in heart‐brain interactions after myocardial infarction. Myocardial infarction leads to increased levels of methylglyoxal‐derived advanced glycation end‐products (MG‐H1) in the brain of mice, which is associated with loss of blood‐brain barrier integrity and neuroinflammation ...

A multifunctional HA‐conjugated nanoplatform (HA‐PGMC) integrates CuO2, glucose oxidase, and mil‐100 to enable cascade catalytic ROS generation in tumor microenvironments. This self‐supplying ROS strategy induces immunogenic cell death, reprograms “cold” tumors into “hot” ones, and synergizes with PD‐L1 blockade, achieving potent chemodynamic ...

This work provides a practical guide for neuroengineers to design advanced neural interfaces, embracing and tailoring the concept of functional disorder. By bridging 2D and 3D in vitro models, this work highlights how non‐periodic, spatially heterogeneous, multiscale nanotopography can enable more physiologically relevant platforms for studying neural ...
