Multi‐Scale Modeling of a 3D Soft Magnetoelectric Patch for Wireless Nerve Stimulation
Core‐shell, magnetoelectric nanoparticles (MENPs) can serve as wireless electric nano‐sources, thanks to their ability to generate high levels of electricity, when stimulated by a human‐safe external magnetic field. By combining MENPs with soft, biocompatible polymeric matrices and optimizing its composite configuration and electrical behavior via ...

Fractal Rigidity in Migraine [PDF]
We study the middle cerebral artery blood flow velocity (MCAfv) in humans using transcranial Doppler ultrasonography (TCD). Scaling properties of time series of the axial flow velocity averaged over a cardiac beat interval may be characterized by two exponents. The short time scaling exponent (STSE) determines the statistical properties of fluctuations

PD‐L1 limits neuroinflammation in neovascular AMD by modulating microglial activation. Its deficiency exacerbates vascular leakage and choroidal neovascularization (CNV) via ERK signaling, while enhancing PD‐L1 reduces inflammation and neovascularization. Targeting PD‐L1 may offer a novel immunomodulatory strategy for NVAMD.

FUS Selectively Facilitates circRNAs Packing into Small Extracellular Vesicles within Hypoxia Neuron
This study aimed to unravel the role of FUS in the loading of functional circRNAs into neuronal sEVs under hypoxic conditions, which involves their aggregations in SGs and specific interaction between the FUS Zf_RanBP domain to regulate circRNA sorting in sEVs.

Through Skull Fluorescence Imaging of the Brain in a New Near-Infrared Window [PDF]
To date, brain imaging has largely relied on X-ray computed tomography and magnetic resonance angiography with limited spatial resolution and long scanning times. Fluorescence-based brain imaging in the visible and traditional near-infrared regions (400-900 nm) is an alternative but currently requires craniotomy, cranial windows and skull thinning ...

Lecithin Alleviates Memory Deficits and Muscle Attenuation in Chinese Older Adults and SAMP8 Mice
This study opens a new avenue for safeguarding cognition and muscle health, averting disability in older age, and treating age‐related pathologies through lecithin supplementation. It serves as a promising nonpharmacological intervention for the crosstalk of muscle and cognition.

CerebroVis: Designing an Abstract yet Spatially Contextualized Cerebral Arteries Network Visualization [PDF]
Blood circulation in the human brain is supplied through a network of cerebral arteries. If a clinician suspects a patient has a stroke or other cerebrovascular condition they order imaging tests. Neuroradiologists visually search the resulting scans for abnormalities.
