Sequential anatectic processes in Mindelo Migmatite Complex (NW Portugal) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014

Impact of gneissic layering and localized incipient melting upon melt flow during experimental deformation of migmatites

open access: yes, 2016
International audienceIn this study, we test experimentally the role of compositional layering as a key parameter for controlling melt flow in a natural migmatite during coaxial deformation.

Caracterização Geoquímica de Rochas Metamáficas e Metaultramáficas da FaixaPajeú-Paraíba, Província Borborema – NE Brasil. [PDF]

open access: yesAnuário do Instituto de Geociências, 2009
Concordant lenses of high pressure metaultramafic and metamafic rocks are positioned in Paleoproterozoic migmatites and orthogneisses of the Pajeú-Paraíba belt, Borborema Province, northeast Brazil.

Link Migmatites to Granitic Body

open access: yesJournal of Geography (Chigaku Zasshi), 1997
Five problems of anatexites and granites have been discussed to study the generation of granitic body. The first is that partial melting takes place in non-equilibrium conditions originated from element-transfer in crystal and from melt-migration in migmatite. Minerals in non-equilibrium relation generally coexist in a migmatite.

High-alumina gneisses of the Chupa Formation in the Belomorian Mobile Belt: metamorphic conditions, partial melting, and the age of migmatites

open access: yesЗаписки Горного института
Migmatized gneisses of the Chupa paragneiss Formation in the Belomorian Mobile Belt (BMB) of the Fennoscandian Shield have been studied, and the conditions of partial melting during high-grade metamorphism of the rocks were determined.

Evidences of ductile to brittle deformation and syn-tectonic emplacement on the Neoarchean granitoids, Nalgonda area, Eastern Dharwar craton, southern India

open access: yesDiscover Geoscience
Situated at the Eastern Dharwar craton in India, the Nalgonda area consists of Neoarchean granitoid plutons variably deformed and intruded by few mafic rocks.

Tectonic evolution of greenstone-Gneiss association in Dharwar Craton, South India: Problems and perspectives for future research [PDF]

open access: yes
The two fold stratigraphic subdivision of the Archean-Proterozoic greenstone-gneiss association of Dharwar craton into an older Sargur group (older than 2.9 Ga.) and a younger Dharwar Supergroup serves as an a priori stratigraphic model.

Exhumation of high-pressure rocks in northern Gondwana during the Early [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
The Coimbra–Córdoba shear zone (CCSZ) represents a major intra-continental shear zone of the European Variscan orogen. The shear criteria found in metamorphic rocks of the CCSZ are consistent with sinistral transcurrent movements.
