Sustained Therapeutic Efficacy of Intravenous Plasminogen Concentrate in Pediatric Patients With Type 1 Plasminogen Deficiency: An Analysis of Dosing Parameters and Clinical Outcomes

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Type 1 plasminogen deficiency (PLGD‐1) is an ultra‐rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by variants in the PLG gene and affects approximately 1.6 individuals per million. The condition is characterized by decreased plasminogen levels and impaired function, resulting in fibrin‐rich lesions on mucous membranes throughout the body.

Local and Global Mild Solution for Gravitational Effects of the Time Fractional Navier–Stokes Equations

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2022
The gravitational effect is a physical phenomenon that explains the motion of a conductive fluid flowing under the impact of an exterior gravitational force.

Estimates for mild solutions to semilinear Cauchy problems [PDF]

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2014
The existence (and uniqueness) results on mild solutions of the abstract semilinear Cauchy problems in Banach spaces are well known. Following the results of Tartar (2008) and Burazin (2008) in the case of decoupled hyperbolic systems, we give an alternative proof, which enables us to derive an estimate on the mild solution and its time of existence ...

ON UNIQUENESS OF MILD SOLUTIONS FOR DISSIPATIVE STOCHASTIC EVOLUTION EQUATIONS [PDF]

open access: yesInfinite Dimensional Analysis, Quantum Probability and Related Topics, 2010
In the semigroup approach to stochastic evolution equations, the fundamental issue of uniqueness of mild solutions is often "reduced" to the much easier problem of proving uniqueness for strong solutions. This reduction is usually carried out in a formal way, without really justifying why and how one can do that.

Rational Use of Herbal Products in Pediatric Patients Treated With Anticancer Drugs in the European Union

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction The use of herbal medical preparation (HMP) is rising among pediatric oncology patients, often to manage treatment‐related symptoms. Their effectiveness remains uncertain, and the risk of herb–drug interactions is underestimated.

Incidence and Severity of Carboplatin‐Associated Hearing Loss in Children With Cancer Assessed by the SIOP Boston 2012 Ototoxicity Criteria

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Platinum‐based chemotherapy is known to cause severe and debilitating hearing loss, but unlike cisplatin, the true incidence of carboplatin‐induced hearing loss remains unclear. We evaluated functional hearing outcomes in children receiving carboplatin to determine the incidence and severity of ototoxicity. Procedure We identified a

Impulsive evolution inclusions with state-dependent delay and multivalued jumps

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2013
In this paper we prove the existence of a mild solution for a class of impulsive semilinear evolution differential inclusions with state-dependent delay and multivalued jumps in a Banach space.

Occurrence of Extramedullary Relapses in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia After Treatment With Blinatumomab

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We report a retrospective single‐center analysis of pediatric patients with relapsed or refractory B‐cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia focusing on relapses outside of the typical locations, bone marrow, central nervous system, or testes.

Extremal Mild Solutions of Hilfer Fractional Impulsive Systems

open access: yes, 2021
The well established monotone iterative technique that is used to study the existence and uniqueness of fractional impulsive system is extended to Hilfer fractional order in this paper. The results are derived by using the method of upper and lower solution and Gronwall inequality.
