Unbiased microRNA–Disease Association Prediction Using ICD‐11 Codes and Negative Sampling

open access: yesPharmacology Research &Perspectives, Volume 13, Issue 6, December 2025.
ABSTRACT We developed a computational model, called “Unbiased microRNA–disease association predictor (UBMDA),” to predict microRNA–disease associations. UBMDA has two major differences from those reported previously. First, we did not apply a similarity‐based feature extraction method, which is the main basis of previous studies.

open access: yesRespirology Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 11, November 2025.
We present a patient with massive ascites with elevated serum cancer antigens 125 (CA125) and carbohydrate antigen 19‐9 (CA19‐9) levels who was diagnosed with peritoneal tuberculosis by laparoscopic findings and peritoneal biopsy, and was successfully treated with anti‐tuberculous agents with a decrease of serum CA125 and CA19‐9.
