GloPath: An Entity‐Centric Foundation Model for Glomerular Lesion Assessment and Clinicopathological Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An entity‐centric foundation model, GloPath, is introduced for comprehensive glomerular lesion assessment from routine renal biopsy images. Trained on over one million glomeruli, the framework enables robust lesion recognition, grading, and cross modality diag nosis, while uncovering large‐scale clinicopathological associations.

Enzymatic DNA Reaction Networks for Orchestrating Stimuli‐Dependent Temporal Molecular Pulse

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present an enzymatic DNA reaction network (EDRN) that encodes nucleic‐acid targets in time, converting inputs into a universal strand and then into programmable transient fluorescence pulses. With time‐color multiplexing, EDRN enables single‐tube high‐plex nucleic acid detection and shows strong agreement with clinical sequencing across 32 specimens.

RBD-displaying OMV nanovaccine boosts immunity against SARS-CoV-2

open access: yesJournal of Nanobiotechnology
Background Since the emergence of SARS-CoV-2, the causative agent of COVID-19, the global health landscape has confronted an unprecedented and formidable challenge. The SARS-CoV-2 receptor-binding domain (RBD) is a key antigen in vaccine design. However,

ZMAT1 Promotes Osteoclastogenesis Through TRIM46 Mediated YAP1 Degradation and Inhibits Osteoblastogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Zmat1 deficiency mitigates pathological bone loss by impairing osteoclastogenesis and promoting osteoblastogenesis. Mechanistically, in osteoclasts, Zmat1 loss relieves transcriptional repression of the E3 ligase TRIM46, promoting YAP1 degradation and inhibiting osteoclastogenic genes.

Water Demands and Sewage Production in Military Cantonments [PDF]

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Public Health and the Nations Health, 1942
THE design of water and sewerage works for a military cantonment, while involving the same basic engineering problems as are found in the design of municipal works, differs from the latter in the emphasis and relative importance placed upon various design features.

Shifting perspectives: holography and the emergence of technical communities [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Holography, the technology of three-dimensional imaging, has repeatedly been reconceptualised by new communities. Conceived in 1947 as a means of improving electron microscopy, holography was revitalized in the early 1960s by engineer-scientists at ...

Microglia‐Targeted Biomimetic Tetrahedral Framework Nucleic Acid Nanovesicles for Synergistic Treatment of Sepsis‐Associated Encephalopathy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Sepsis‐associated encephalopathy (SAE) lacks effective therapies. We developed ME@FDsi, a biomimetic nanodrug using a tetrahedral framework nucleic acid to deliver disulfiram and siTNFα. It crosses the blood‐brain barrier, targets M1 microglia, inhibits pyroptosis and inflammation, and scavenges ROS.

Frk positively regulates innate antiviral immunity by phosphorylating TBK1

open access: yesFrontiers in Microbiology
Type I interferons (IFN-I) are crucial for the initial defense against viral infections. TBK1 serves as a key regulator in the production of IFN-I, with its phosphorylation being essential for the regulation of its activity.
