Advanced glycation end products promote the release of endothelial cell‐derived mitocytosis
Under diabetic conditions, AGEs induce mitochondrial damage in HUVECs, activating migrasome‐mediated mitocytosis. Migrasomes encapsulate damaged mitochondria and are released into the extracellular space, facilitating intercellular mitochondrial transfer.

Gut alterations in a chronic kidney disease rat model with diet‐induced vascular calcification
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients often suffer from intestinal and/or mineral and bone disorders. Using a rat model, we showed that uremic vascular calcification is associated with gut barrier alterations (decreased gut mucus production and Nlrp6 gene expression, increased gut inflammation), and plasma retention of gut‐origin uremic toxins (indoxyl

Analysis of raw cow milk quality according to free fatty acid contents in the Czech Republic
The concentration ( c) of free fatty acids (FFAs) in milk is an indicator of dairy cow nutrition, milk straining, its bacterial contamination and storage quality. High FFA concentrations ( cs) caused by lipolysis can damage the quality properties of milk

An Early Detection System for Proactive Management of Raw Milk Quality: An Australian Case Study
Milk is a highly perishable product, whose quality degrades while moving downstream in an imperfect cold dairy supply chain. Existing literature adopts a reactive approach for evaluating and preventing milk with a high microbial index from moving further

Efficiency of cleaning procedure of milking equipment and bacterial quality of milk [PDF]
The cleaning and sanitation of milking equipment could be consider a critical point in the milking procedure because a cleaning failure could influence the level of bacteria contamination of bulk tank milk. Aim of the study is to monitor the cleaning procedures of milking systems in 7 dairy cows farms in Lombardy and to find a relation between efficacy

In human monocytic cells THP‐1, a limited uptake of native—not oxidized—LDL/VLDL induced expression of scavenger receptor A and cellular adhesion. Induction was inhibited by lysosomotropic (WR‐1065) and lipophilic (BHT) antioxidants and by siRNAs against ferritinophagy.

Feeding sainfoin to goats – influence on milk and cheese quality and yield [PDF]
Although the administration of sainfoin is associated with anthelmintic effects, information on the consequences of feeding this legume on product quality is scarce. In the present study we looked at milk quality and yield of goats fed either sainfoin or
