The results showed that the reduction of plasma 24‐hydroxycholesterol (24‐OHC) was related to the cognitive decline in elderly surgical patients. Neuroinflammation induced by anesthesia and surgery significantly downregulated SREBP2 in hippocampal reactive astrocytes, resulting in reduced cholesterol synthesis.

Endothelial PDGF Signaling Dysregulation Impairs Testicular Interstitial Homeostasis in Diabetes
Testicular endothelial cells (TECs) function as central signaling hubs that coordinate interstitial homeostasis. Diabetes disrupts TEC‐derived PDGF signaling, silences the JUND‐MCL1 survival program in Leydig cells, and impairs peritubular function, leading to fibrosis and testosterone insufficiency.

Compared to untargeted therapy, the targeted nanocarrier, Angiopep‐2‐conjugated Lipid Nanoparticle (A‐LNP) loaded with TGN‐020 (TGN), selectively accumulated in stroke‐injured regions. It suppressed local aquaporin‐4 (AQP4) overexpression, thereby alleviating cerebral edema and hypoperfusion while preserving global glymphatic clearance.

Today commercial milk replacers are an essential component for the successful rearing of dairy calves. There will also be an increased need for milk replacers in the beef industry as reproductive biologists transform the role of the beef cow to a factory assembly line for calves thus increasing the number of "orphan" calves.

Milk Replacers for the Neonatal Calf
Veterinary Clinics of North America: Food Animal Practice, 1985A rather long list of broad generalizations exist regarding milk replacers for calves. At least two more general statements should be added to that list. Most broad generalizations regarding milk replacers should be applied cautiously; and if young calves (less than 2 to 3 weeks) are to be fed milk substitutes, the products should be of high quality ...

Milk powders ‐ calf milk replacers
International Journal of Dairy Technology, 1981The technology and nutritional guidelines of good milk replacer manufacture are outlined. The fundamental differences of comparative performance of milk replacers based on milk solids and non‐milk solids are explained. Use of milk replacers in automatic machines and acidified feeding systems and the merits of various management systems are also ...
