An Inward-moving and Asymmetric Velocity Wave Detected in LAMOST-Gaia
The phase space, as coded by kinematic parameters and chemical abundances, is crucial for understanding the formation of the Galactic disk. Using red giant stars from the Galactic thin disk with [Fe/H] > − 0.8 and low- α ratios identified in LAMOST-Gaia,

Kindlin Regulates Mechanosensitive Activation and Adhesion Assembly of Integrin beta6
Extracellular matrix compliance plays a critical role in the regulation of integrin‐mediated adhesion and cell motility. Here, it is reported that strengthening the kindlin2‐integrin β6 interaction overcomes the dependence on extracellular substrate stiffness and promotes integrin β6‐mediated cell migration.

Icarus Revisited: An Ancient, Metal-poor Accreted Stellar Stream in the Disk of the Milky Way
The search for accreted satellites in the Galactic disk is a challenging task, to which Gaia plays a crucial role in synergy with ground-based spectroscopic surveys. In 2021, P. Re Fiorentin et al.

Dust distribution in the Milky Way disk
To study the Galactic disk structure, we use the combination of the near-infrared survey 2MASS and Gaia DR2. We develop the Field Extinction - Distance Relation Deconvolver (FEDReD) algorithm to unravel distance and extinction. It is a Bayesian deconvolution algorithm which works field of view by field of view.

This study describes the creation of injectable Brachyury (Bry) mRNA‐loaded Fucoidan‐functionalized GelMA hydrogel microspheres (BLNP@GF). These microspheres efficiently suppress inflammation, enhance extracellular matrix (ECM) synthesis in degenerated nucleus pulposus cells, and mitigate intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD) in rat models.

β‐Mangostin alleviates intervertebral disc degeneration through dual modulation of macrophage polarization and the TET2‐Prkcg axis in nucleus pulposus cells. Abstract Intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD) induced lower back pain is a main cause of disability, resulting in a substantial workforce loss worldwide and placing a substantial burden on the ...

Exploring the links between Large Igneous Provinces and dramatic environmental impact
An emerging consensus suggests that Large Igneous Provinces (LIPs) and Silicic LIPs (SLIPs) are a significant driver of dramatic global environmental and biological changes, including mass extinctions.

Mapping the Chemodynamics of the Galactic Disk Using the LAMOST and APOGEE Red Clump Stars
A detailed measurement is made of the metallicity distributions, kinematics, and dynamics of the thin and thick disks across a large disk volume (5.0 ≤ R ≤ 15.0 kpc and ∣ Z ∣ ≤ 3.0 kpc) by using the LAMOST–APOGEE red clump stars.
