GAS DYNAMICS IN THE MILKY WAY: A LOW PATTERN SPEED MODEL [PDF]
ABSTRACT We present gas flow models for the Milky Way based on high-resolution grid-based hydrodynamical simulations. The basic galactic potential we use is from an N-body model constrained by the density of red clump giants in the Galactic bulge.

Icarus Revisited: An Ancient, Metal-poor Accreted Stellar Stream in the Disk of the Milky Way
The search for accreted satellites in the Galactic disk is a challenging task, to which Gaia plays a crucial role in synergy with ground-based spectroscopic surveys. In 2021, P. Re Fiorentin et al.

Dynamical evidence of the age-metallicity relation in the Milky Way disk [PDF]
We studied the relationship between the average stellar abundance of several elements and the orbital evolution of stars in the neighbourhood of the Sun, using both observational data for 325 late-type dwarfs in a volume-complete sample and simulations of the orbital diffusion.

HMGB1 derived from the pyroptotic environment in Hirschsprung‐associated enterocolitis mediates the formation of macrophage extracellular traps through TLR4 ‐p38 MAPK/p65 NF‐kB signaling pathways. Macrophage extracellular traps induce increased ROS production and pyroptosis of colonic epithelial cells.

Dynamical Models of the Milky Way in Action Space with LAMOST DR8 and Gaia EDR3
This work explores dynamical models of the Milky Way (MW) by analyzing a sample of 86,109 K giant stars selected through cross-matching the LAMOST DR8 and Gaia EDR3 surveys. Our earlier torus models of Q. Wang et al.

Time‐Controlled Dual Targeting to Program Systemic and Intercellular Transfer of Therapeutic Effects
Aspirin‐liposomes loaded onto monocytes enable inflammation‐triggered targeting and efficient hand‐over of aspirin to inflamed cells. Monocytes uptake a significant portion of aspirin‐liposomes, prolonging therapeutic action. This approach enhances anti‐inflammatory effects through intercellular transfer, demonstrating a translational strategy for ...

Dynamical heating across the Milky Way disc using APOGEE and Gaia [PDF]
Abstract The kinematics of the Milky Way disc as a function of age are well measured at the solar radius, but have not been studied over a wider range of Galactocentric radii. Here, we measure the kinematics of mono-age, mono-[Fe/H] populations in the low and high [α/Fe] discs between 4 ≲ R ≲ 13 kpc and |z| ≲ 2 kpc using 65 719 stars in ...
