Scalable Multi‐Target Illusion via a Segmented Spatiotemporal Metasurface

An electromagnetic kaleidoscope is realized with a segmented spatiotemporal metasurface that transforms one physical aperture into multiple independently controlled false targets. Parallel‐sequence spectral translation codes apparent range and velocity, while segment allocation regulates echo amplitude. Experiments at 5 GHz generate two to five targets
