Neurological assessment revealed restricted neck mobility, hypermetria and circumduction of all limbs, indicating a grade 2 out of 5 ataxia.

Advanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 39, October 20, 2025.This study reveals that the glycolytic enzyme HK2 mediates hypoxia‐induced astrocytic exosome biogenesis by directly phosphorylating nSMase1. These astrocytic exosomes impair brain endothelial tight junctions. Astrocyte‐specific knockdown of HK2 reduces exosome release and alleviates brain injury after MCAO.
