Ring and Field Adjunctions, Algebraic Elements and Minimal Polynomials
Summary In [6], [7] we presented a formalization of Kronecker’s construction of a field extension of a field F in which a given polynomial p ∈ F [ X ]

Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

Convergence of Minimal and Approximate Minimal Elements of Sets in Partially Ordered Vector Spaces
IN this paper firstly, we obtain convergence results for a sequence of minimal elements of sets under assumptions of minimal character.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Space of minimal prime ideals of a ring without nilpotent elements
Hull-kernel topology on the set ∑(R) of prime ideals of a ring R with unity and without nilpotent elements is discussed. The restriction of this topology to the set π(R) of minimal prime ideals of R has been investigated in detail. The compactness of π(R)

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

On minimal non-orientable matroids with 2n elements and rank n
We describe an infinite family Mn,k, with n≥4 and 1≤k≤n−2, of minimal non-orientable matroids of rank n on a set with 2n elements. For k=1,n−2, Mn,k is isomorphic to the Bland–Las Vergnas matroid Mn. For every 2≤k≤n−3 a new minimal non-orientable matroid

An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...
