In most plate/shell elements founded on the complementary energy functional, the assumed mement spaces are not minimal. The reason of introducing additional moment modes is to build elements with sufficient stiffness.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

General Conditions for Existence of Maximal Elements via the Uncovered Set [PDF]
This paper disentangles the topological assumptions of classical results (e.g., Walker (1977)) on existence of maximal elements from rationality conditions. It is known from the social choice literature that under the standard topological conditions-with

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

On Lie algebras all of whose minimal subalgebras are lower modular. [PDF]
The main purpose of this paper is to study Lie algebras L such that if a subalgebra U of L has a maximal subalgebra of dimension one then every maximal subalgebra of U has dimension one. Such an L is called lm(0)-algebra.

A Description of the Minimal Elements of Shi Regions in Classical Weyl Groups
International audienceIn this extended abstract, we show how a bijection between parking functions and regions of the Shi arrangement from Athanasiadis and Linusson (in type An) and Armstrong, Reiner, and Rhoades (in type Bn, Cn, Dn) allows for the ...

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Elements of minimal length and Bruhat order on fixed point cosets of Coxeter groups
8 pages, 2 figures. Comments welcome!International audienceWe study the restriction of the strong Bruhat order on an arbitrary Coxeter group $W$ to cosets $x W_L^\theta$, where $x$ is an element of $W$ and $W_L^\theta$ the subgroup of fixed points of an ...

Dual Polarized Reconfigurable Frequency Selective Surfaces [PDF]
Novel band-stop active frequency selective surfaces (FSS) capable of modifying their response for different polarizations are proposed. Geometries based on full rings, and split rings are employed.
