Comparative Analysis of Spatial Interpolation Performance of Different Schemes for Temperature over Zhoushan Islands under Cold Wave Scenario

open access: yesQixiang keji
Compared to inland areas, meteorological stations in the island regions appear scarce and unevenly distributed, which leads to noteworthy uncertainty in detailed characterisation of various meteorological elements.

ZW4864‐mediated inhibition of the β‐catenin/BCL9/BCL9L complex reveals therapeutic potential in bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Minimum Weekly Temperature Forecasting using ANFIS

open access: yes, 2012
Temperature changes had a direct effect on crops. In the present study an adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) has been used to model the relationship between maximum and minimum temperature data.

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Minimum maximum temperature gradient coils: experimental analysis

open access: yes, 2012
The problem of gradient heating is addressed using a method reported elsewhere for designing gradient coils with minimum maximum temperature. The behaviour of four prototype coils is analyzed through experiment and compared to a minimum power coil and ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Minimum temperature at El Verde since 1975

open access: yes, 2011
Temperature has been measured at the El Verde Field Station since 1964 (see methods). Monthly averages for the period of 1975 to 2000 have been calculated (see chart).

Maximum, Minimum, and Current Temperature Protocol [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
The purpose of this activity is to measure air (and optionally soil) temperature within one hour of solar noon and the maximum and minimum air temperatures for the previous 24 hours. Intended outcomes are that students will learn to read minimum, maximum,

PERAMALAN SUHU MINIMUM BULANAN KABUPATEN MALANG MENGGUNAKAN METODE HOLT–WINTERS UNTUK ANALISIS POLA MUSIM DINGIN TROPIS

open access: yesE-Jurnal Matematika
Monthly minimum temperature is an important indicator in climate analysis, particularly for identifying tropical winter patterns in Malang Regency. This study aims to forecast monthly minimum temperature using the additive Holt–Winters method and to ...

Establishing an assay to evaluate d‐amino acid oxidase enzyme kinetics and inhibition using WST‐8 redox dye

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This study investigated a novel WST‐8‐based assay for evaluating d‐Amino acid oxidase (DAO) inhibitors. We confirmed its effectiveness using known inhibitors and found that uremic toxins possess relatively weak inhibitory activity compared to existing drugs.
