Low Greenhouse Gas Agriculture: Mitigation and Adaptation Potential of Sustainable Farming Systems [PDF]
Is low greenhouse gas emission (GHG) agriculture possible? Is it, in fact, desirable? In seeking answers to these two basic but extremely relevant questions, this study examines current farming practices, and incorporates scientific databases from ...

This study reveals the genetic and molecular mechanisms controlling grain size homeostasis through fine‐tuning OsGRX8 self‐expression by two natural negative feedback loops functioning in redox‐dependent or ‐independent manners and identifies two self‐regulatory haplotypes (SRHs) for the subspecies differentiation in rice.

Non-inversion tillage in organic arable cropping [PDF]
The opportunities for using an non-inversion tillage (NI) approach in organic systems has not been well investigated by research and what research has been done has not perhaps been sufficiently long-term.

Economic Assessment of Herbicide Systems for Minimum-Tillage Peanuts1
Abstract Field experiments were conducted in 1983 and 1984 on a Dothan loamy sand at Headland, AL to evaluate herbicide systems for minimum tillage peanut (Arachia hypogaea L. Florunner) production. The influence of minimum tillage-herbicide systems on weed control, peanut yield, market grade, and net returns were examined.

An iron‐based nanozyme selectively eliminates intratumoral P. anaerobius while catalytically generating ROS to induce ferroptosis, synergistically suppressing colorectal cancer growth and activating anti‐tumor immunity through immunogenic cell death. ABSTRACT The intratumoral microbiota is a critical determinant of therapeutic outcomes in colorectal ...

CQESTR Simulation of Management Practice Effects on Long-Term Soil Organic Carbon [PDF]
Management of soil organic matter (SOM) is important for soil productivity and responsible utilization of crop residues for additional uses. CQESTR, pronounced “sequester,” a contraction of “C sequestration” (meaning C storage), is a C balance model that

A Tac1‐Expressing Brainstem Pathway Underlies the Pathogenesis of Trigeminal Neuralgia
A critical TG‐Sp5CTac1‐PBNTac1 pathway drives trigeminal neuropathic pain (TNP). Tac1‐expressing parabrachial nucleus (PBNTac1) neurons exhibit heightened responses to innocuous stimuli in TNP, and chemogenetic inhibition of these neurons effectively prevents TNP development.

THE INFLUENCE OF MINIMUM TILLAGE SYSTEMS UPON THE SOIL PROPERTIES, YIELD AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN SOME ARABLE CROPS [PDF]
The paper presents the influence of the conventional ploughing tillage technology in comparison with the minimum tillage, upon the soil properties, weed control, yield and energy efficiency in the case of maize (Zea mays L.), soyabean (Glycine hispida L.)
