It is well-known that at the nano-scale, morphology can play a crucial role in the properties of nanomaterials and there is still a challenging task to control it during the synthesis.

Induced vacuum currents in anti-de Sitter space with toral dimensions
We investigate the Hadamard function and the vacuum expectation value of the current density for a charged massive scalar field on a slice of anti-de Sitter (AdS) space described in Poincaré coordinates with toroidally compact dimensions.

ABSTRACT The leading‐order asymptotic behavior of the solution of the Cauchy initial‐value problem for the Benjamin–Ono equation in L2(R)$L^2(\mathbb {R})$ is obtained explicitly for generic rational initial data u0$u_0$. An explicit asymptotic wave profile uZD(t,x;ε)$u^\mathrm{ZD}(t,x;\epsilon)$ is given, in terms of the branches of the multivalued ...

On Geometric Phase Model in the Theory of Curves With Myller Configuration
ABSTRACT In this paper, we introduce a linearly polarized light wave in an optical fiber and rotation of the polarization plane through the Frenet‐type frame with Myller configuration. Since the geometric evaluation and interpretations of a polarized light wave are associated with geometric phase, a new type of geometric phase model has been ...

Celestial holography revisited. Part II. Correlators and Källén-Lehmann
In this work we continue the investigation of the extrapolate dictionary for celestial holography recently proposed in [1], at both the perturbative and non-perturbative level.

Fractal Curvature Measures and Minkowski Content for Limit Sets of Conformal Function Systems [PDF]
We characterise fractal sets arising from conformal iterated function systems and conformal graph directed Markov systems for which the Minkowski content and the fractal curvature measures exist.

Improving robots swarm aggregation performance through the Minkowski distance function
In this work, we study a simple collective behaviour, called aggregation, performed by a swarm of mobile robots system. We mainly proposed the Distance-Minkowski k-Nearest Neighbours (DM-KNN) as a new approach to the aggregation behaviour of simple ...

On the derivative of the $\alpha$-Farey-Minkowski function
In this paper we study the family of $\alpha$-Farey-Minkowski functions $\theta_\alpha$, for an arbitrary countable partition $\alpha$ of the unit interval with atoms which accumulate only at the origin, which are the conjugating homeomorphisms between each of the $\alpha$-Farey systems and the tent map. We first show that each function $\theta_\alpha$

Remarks on the Maximal Regularity for Parabolic Boundary Value Problems With Inhomogeneous Data
ABSTRACT Inspired by Ogawa‐Shimizu and Chen‐Liang‐Tsai on the second and first order derivative estimates of solutions of the heat equation in the upper half space with boundary data in homogeneous Besov spaces, we extend the estimates to any order of derivatives, including fractional derivatives.

On A Class of Human Development Index Measures [PDF]
Using Minkowski distance function we propose a class of Human Development Index measures. Special cases of this turn out to be the popularly used linear average method as also a newly proposed displaced ideal method. Two measures of penalty are suggested.
